Getting started
Adults (18+) who are located in Alabama or Georgia at the time of their visits and want medically supervised help with weight. Eligibility is determined by a licensed clinician during an individual evaluation. Minimum-age and eligibility details are being finalized.
Alabama and Georgia only. Telehealth rules require that you be physically located in a state where the treating clinician is licensed during each visit. If you are elsewhere, a waitlist for other states is coming soon.
Text (334) 487-6688 to schedule (text only; this line does not take calls). Or submit the short form on the Get started page and we'll reach out to schedule your phone visit.
No referral is expected. Your clinician may ask for recent records or labs so they can make safe recommendations.
Care & treatment
A phone visit with a licensed clinician who reviews your health history, current medications, goals and any prior weight-loss attempts. Together you build a plan that may include nutrition, activity, sleep and behavior strategies, and medication only if medically appropriate.
Not automatically. GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide or tirzepatide are considered only when a clinician determines they are medically appropriate for you. Some people are not candidates because of their medical history, other medications, pregnancy or plans to become pregnant, or other factors. A prescription is never guaranteed.
Commonly reported side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and decreased appetite. Less common but serious risks can include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with certain other medications) and kidney problems from dehydration. These medications carry a boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumors in animal studies and are not used in people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2. Your clinician will review risks with you; always read the medication guide.
If clinically appropriate, your clinician may prescribe medication, including compounded options, with fulfillment through a licensed pharmacy as clinically directed.
Your clinician may request recent labs or order new ones to make sure treatment is safe.
Follow-up frequency depends on your plan and how you're doing. Many people check in more often at the start and less often over time. Specific visit schedules are coming soon.
